Research experience

I. Nanoplasmonics & nanophotonics:
1. Synthesis and characterization monometallic and bimetallic nanoparticles of different (simple and complex) structures and fabrication of thin film and plasmon active substrates
2. Plasmonic properties (LSPR, SPP, Plasmon-plasmon coupling, plasmonic hybridizations) using theory and numerical simulations (FEM)
3. Photonic nanojet of an optical micro-resonator and Lorentz-Mie theory
II. Spectroscopy & biophotonics:
1. Raman spectroscopy and Plasmon-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (spectra, mapping and imaging),
2. Analysis of Raman scattering spectra (of dye, proteins, organic molecules, cancer cells) using MATLAB and Origin
3. Principle component analysis in spectroscopy (using MATLAB and Unscrambler)
